Inspired by this quotation, we asked you about your winter rituals and the things you do to keep your heart happy at this time of year.

“You’ll need love, joy, passion, good friends, a soft place to land, magic and the ability to recognise it. You’ll need a thick skin to weather the worst of the world and a tender heart to receive the best of it. You’ll need a sense of humour to survive your ego and your pride (and everyone else’s), curiosity to investigate your weird reactions, fears and self-sabotaging strategies. You’ll need rituals that centre you, habits that hold you to your promises, dedication and determination so that challenging yourself to do what is difficult but defining day after day, week after week, month after month, year upon year becomes natural and even enjoyable.”  - Chani Nicholas

Thanks to everyone who left us a comment on that post. We've chosen three winners...

Our two runners-up who will each recieve a core Momiji doll of their choice are Julia Elrick and Hailee Carter. Our first prize winner is Nicky from Peru who told us about how she connects with memories of home at this time of year. Nicky you've won £50 to spend at!

Congratulations to you guys and thanks again to everyone who took the time to write about their rituals.

Start a new ritual for yourself by hiding your wish for the year ahead inside a Momiji doll. Who would you choose?
