The Momiji Pants Party

Couture Contest

Each year we visit the graduate degree shows at art and design colleges and universities up and down the UK. Often it’s the fashion and textile departments that really blow our minds; they’re always full of intricate detail and spectacular creativity. This year we decided to throw down the challenge to fashionistas world-wide to create a textile Momiji doll.

The T-Shirt Project

We set three of our favourite artists a t-shirt challenge. We asked them to create a ‘Spread the Love’ themed Momiji tee…they worked their illustrative magic and with the help of the lovely folks at White Duck Screen Print we now have our t-shirt trio.

Asian Film Festival of Dallas

Momiji were very proud sponsors of the Asian Film Festival of Dallas 2009.

Momiji Movies

The students at Chelsea College of Art and Design in London never fail to wow us with their sheer genius.

Window Competition

We love a competition! Last Christmas we challenged our Momiji shop keepers from across the UK to create a Momiji extravaganza in their store windows.

Crim Shop Party

Momiji love is global. The guys from Crim Shop in Italy threw a little party in our honour. They totally went to town with cupcakes and decorations to celebrate the arrival of the dolls in their store.

Selfridges Launch Party

Here are a few snaps from our little ‘do’ at Selfridges on Oxford Street. Our favourite designers flocked from far and wide for a bit of shindig to celebrate the launch of the Designer Toy Lounge.

Medicins Sans Frontieres

We got to know the folks at Medcins Sans Frontieres just over a year ago. Since then we’ve been working to raise funds for them. We’d like to do much more and we’ll be aiming to raise more money over the next year.

Photography Competition

We LOVE working with Chelsea College of Art and Design and here’s a perfect example of why.

Design Competition

In 2008 we ran a competition in conjunction with Don’t Panic to design a trio of dolls for Selfridges inspired by our ‘Indulge’ theme.
