We recently passed the 10,000 followers milestone on Facebook. To celebrate we're giving away a very special, 'money can't buy' Momiji doll. She's 30cm tall and usually only loaned to our lovely retailers for safe-keeping (only 150 were ever made and each one is numbered so we know exactly where they all are!)
So, if you'd like to get your hands on this very special lady we'd like you to leave a comment below in answer to the following question...
We can think of 10,000 reasons to be thankful today. What would you like to say a BIG thank you for and why?

I am thankful for another day of life. Also for my family, and I am especially thankful for the newest addition, my 5 month old niece Aika!!! Her name means "lovesong" in Japanese and , ♬♪ I love her like a lovesong, baby! ♬♪

I'm thankful for my dog, Twiggy. She's clever, sweet, playful, and has a big personality. I love having her around, she gets me up and going in the morning (literally, she is as accurate as any alarm clock)!

I am thankful that I woke up happy and healthy every morning despite of my joblessness. I am surrounded by awesome family, best friends and love, I couldn't ask for more. Struggles each day but I still have endless blessings to count. And I am super thankful for Momiji, it is one of my favorite blessing of all time! ^^

I would want to thank my best friend,Mandy that stayed on aim and talk to me when ever I feel horrible and help me when i need help with homework. She is one of the most interesting person I know so far, and THANK YOU for being so nice to me for the past year.

Sunshine lolly pops and Rainbows.....
I am thankful for everything, even the bad things, because everything has made my life what it is today, I am thankful for every breath I take and every second I live, I am SUPER thankful for my 2 little munchkin kiddy winks ;) and that I get to see their smiling faces every day, I'm thankful for all the love and cuddles they give me, I am eternally thankful for my amazing Mum who helps me out so much with my beautiful disabled son and the special 1 on 1 time I get with my daughter so we can do girly things like painting nails or making little fimo figures. I am thankful for the time I had with lost loved ones and the memories we made, memories that still bring a smile to my face.I am thankful that I am able to see all the beautiful things in life such as the diamond drops of dew on spider webs, fragrant winds, blooming flowers, stunning cloud formations, sunny days, smoldering sunsets, twinkly stars, the sound of crunchy leaves, feel of sand between my toes, the perfect glow of the moon, the feel of raindrops on my face and the magical sight of a rainbow cutting through the gloom and the fun you have trying to find the end of it a lot of people become to busy to notice these things anymore. I am thankful that I can always see the good in people, for my mums yummy ginger cake, for a hot bath on a cold day, that I have a place I can call home and clean water... Sorry to go on but there is so much I am thankful for the list is endless But most of all I am thankful that I have so many things to be thankful for because so many people dont, Thank you everyone at Momiji HQ the prize is super great, I'v collected Momiji from the very start and own every single doll to date, they have pride of place in my living room =^-^= keep making smiles xx

I am thankful for whoever the clever designer was who thought to put the little card inside each doll. So, whenever one of my dolls catches my eye, I'm reminded of a special occasion and the amazing person who gave me her. They really do brighten my life! Thank you Momiji!

I'm thankful to my family who have come together and supported each other after losing Gran in July. It's been a long and hard Christmas without her but we're thankful that she brought us together and was a huge part in our lives. I don't know how I would've managed without everyone to brighten up my day with a cheery smile :)

I am thankful for both my boyfriend and my parents for their continued support throughout my life. Thanks to them I had the courage to follow my dreams and have now secured a place to go back to university to train to be a teacher.
I am also thankful for all the friends I have made through my 5 year love of Momiji and again to my boyfriend for letting me fill the house with them.

I am thankful for my daughter, born 6 wks early on October 5, 2011 at 4lb 14 oz. She has shown me the definition of strength and courage. She has complex congenital heart defects and underwent open heart surgery at 1 month old. I am thankful for her everyday, for her sweet smile and determination to live!

That I have a wonderful 4 year old who says she is checking her e mails when she gets caught picking her nose.
That the tap in the kitchen which has been dripping for nearly a year might actually get fixed soon.
That sometimes out of the blue you get a nice surprise. (Perhaps the Mother of all Momijis to look after the little ones in your collection? Pretty please HQ!)

Hello there Momiji!
Well, it's a big question to ask myself what to I have to be thankful for! I could go on about my lovely Momiji collection I have sitting on my desk, or that ultra-delish mango smoothie I just made (yum!), but I won't.
Especially as the Christmas season has just passed, and I spent the day surrounded by my family, I am so thankful for the wonderful support I have through family and friends! So many people passed Christmas alone and hungry on the streets, worrying about the future, finding food or earning money. In this day and age, we have to be grateful for all the wonderful opportunities we are given (even me being able to use this computer right now!) when there are so many others out there who are less fortunate.
I'm thankful for life ~ as they say, you only live once, so I want to make a positive contribution to the lives of others and just wear a big ol' smile!!
And I'd like to thank you Momiji - while there can only be one winner I can say for sure that this comp will have spread a lot of joy as people realise what they are thankful for; the blessing we have which are our own lives, and the ability to change the lives of others, in a good way!

I'm thankful to God for giving me the opportunity to be able to wake up every single morning to a beautiful warm spark of sunlight on my face and chirping of birds on my window. This past year has been tough both financially and emotional for me, but thanks to God, Family and Friends I'am pulling through.

I am thankful for my girlfriend, because we have grown together to become better people. The important things are having her with me, make her happy and take care of her by understanding her silences too, that sometimes are more meaningful that words. This is what really matters, work little by little every single day to have a future together, and not having lots of people by your side telling that your couple relationship is perfect. Shout your love all loud would not make it better, it's only your heart working every day to make it perfect. Modesty is a great thing.

5 years ago I gave my boyfriend of the time a momiji for Christmas, 3 years later he proposed with a momiji, this year we finally got married, I am really thankful that I was able to marry my best friend and had some momijis there to help us celebrate!

Im thankfull for the best thing in the world... My beautiful daughter, and becoming a mother. Never wanted to be a doctor or a lawyer, always wanted to be a mum, cuz some girls are traditional. And im not payed by cheque or cash... Im payed by love.
Bipolar has stopped me doing many things...
But it sure as hell is NOT going to stop me being a Mummy!
Keep the amazing dolls coming! <3

I'd like to say a massive thank-you, firstly, to my family. I have been very fortunate to have a caring family that are there when you're down. They have been very supportive and it means a lot to me. My dad would drive 1 hour every week (or sometimes even daily for tournaments!) to take me to Chess lessons and to play in a Chess Club. I really appreciate it, dad! I'd also like to thank Momiji for making gorgeous dolls (and I think I speak on behalf of everyone here) Thank-you Momiji! xoxo

I am thankful for so many things... especially for being alive in this day and age! I am thankful for my daughter whom I adore and love with all my heart and soul. im thankful for the people he has made walk in and out of my life. my family who love me even when im annoyed at them! thankful for my friends and free education. im thankful to see another day pass, to breath, cry and laugh. Thankful for the little things life having my first collection of dolls c: im thankful my parents moved to a divers city like london which made me experince difference, the wierd and wonderful which has made me open minded. Im thankful for being slightly bit cheesy so i can express how thankful i am..phaha C:

I am thankful for having a wonderful fiance, and 4 year old son...who brighten up my life every single day....also my fiance brings me a momiji every milestone we have in our life such as xmas, my birthday our engagement was on the 27th dec and our 1 year anniversary of when we first met...looking forward to the next mile stones and coming soon valentines day, not just because it means another momiji is coming but because its another day, week and year that ive got to no such a wonderful person :) oh and happy new year everybody :)

I want to say a BIG Thank you to my ballet instructor. She has changed the way I dance and has made it joyful again. I also want to say a BIG Thank you to my friends, because no matter how far apart we may be right now I know I can rely on them to always be there if I need them. I have many things in life to be thankful for. But none as important as my mum who has stuck with me through thick and thin, even when I was very poorly, so I want to thank her for putting up with me even when I was and still am a pain in the tush. She's a great fan of momiji goodies and it'd be nice to think I could add a doll she doesn't have to the collection we share. Also I'm thankful that Momiji make wonderfully priced dolls, they make excellent gifts to my family and friends.

I would like to say thank you to the Shinto gods of Japan for answering the wish I hung on the wishing tree at Yoyogi Shrine in Tokyo. I wished to be blessed with a child and 2 weeks after returning from Tokyo I discovered I was pregnant and my son was conceived in the city I love most in the world. I would also like to thank the Japanese gods for keeping my Japanese friends safe during the Tsunami and the Earthquakes.

I am very thankful for my 2 amazing sisters! Since my mum died 5 years ago we have become so much closer and they have taken care of me, who is apparently the baby. Well at first I thought "Wow I don't even know where to start" but then I remembered an important day for me: the day I discovered the momiji doll. I really have to thank my mom because, in 2008 she bought me a magasine and while I was reading, I suddenly saw the Johanna Zhou collection of momiji dolls. I was shocked! I thought "These dolls are amazingly sweet and cute and they know all about what friendship is and they could teach us an awsome thing: without family and friends you can't live." I really wanted them . So my parents and I went in Bucarest, Romania. My parents knew how much I wanted those momiji dolls so guess what, they took me into a shop wich was selling momijis. I was really happy I almost cried and I have to thank ny dad because that day he bought me 6 momiji dolls.
So this is the story of a little girl that became even more happier after finding a treausure as amazing as the momiji dolls. Thank you for all your beautiful thoughts and ideas. I love you guys !

We have been together 7 years, like many relationships we've had lots of ups and downs. We've also had a few tragedies in that time, which have made us stronger as a couple.
If it wasn't for Adam, I would never of had Momiji in my life. Because if he didn't go to De Montfort Uni, we would never of stumbled across "The little shop that sells Momiji" (thats what we call it), and I would never of brought any, Adam would never of said, "Promise me that if you buy any you will actually collect them! And not let them be some fad"
That was August last year, I brought 3, now I had 54, Adam is a bit shocked :) But he really likes them too and is almost as much excited as I am for when we move out and decorate our own place with all my Momiji dolls :)

I am thankful to God for bringing me through another year... 2011 was a very difficult year, but here I am, still standing, alive and healthy... My husband and child are healthy, and just today, my dad successfully received a hip replacement and the dr is very pleased!!! Thank You, Jesus!!! I <3 You!!!

I would like to say a HUGE thank you to my best friend Mariah for inspiring me to draw six years ago, when I was a Freshman in high school. I saw her drawing one day and noticed how calm she was, and then I watched as she gave the drawing away to someone next to her and saw how happy it made them. I wanted to be able to make people happy in that way as well, so I started drawing more and more. In middle school it was just small, meaningless, doodles on the edges of my homework or in my notes, but after I met Mariah, drawing became so much more important to me. It was a creative outlet that helped me vent my emotions much healthier, and my doctor noticed that I was less stressed and was able to sleep better, and it was wonderful to be able to give a drawing to a friend and see how happy it made them. So to my best friend, Mariah, I'd like to say A HUGE HUGE thank you, I wouldn't be the person I am today without having met and been positively influenced by you.

I have a lot to be thankful for, but I am particularly thankful today that my mom was able to meet my little girl, who is now 9 months old. In October last year my mom, who lives 13 hours away, visited me to see the ultrasound that would reveal the gender of my baby. On her way home, she suffered a massive pulmonary embolism, which actually succeeded in killing her for a few moments. I am so grateful that those kids saw her collapse and called for help, I still have my best friend, and last month she was able to visit and play with my beautiful little girl.

Last year we lost our father to very fast onset liver cancer and there is no way I could have handled it all without them and the support we provided each other. Sometimes being single isn't easy, everything depends on you - the chores, the bills, the shopping, the caring for an extensive Momiji collection :), everything. But, no matter how difficult life gets or how long the hours are, I can always depend on my faithful pup, Crabapple. I'm so grateful for his loyalty, love, and fluffy snuggles. No matter how my day is or how cheeky I am, he's there. Dogs are a girl's best friend :)

I would like to say *thank you* to my lovely girlfriend Rachel, for putting up with me and my Momiji obsession. She has to deal with me stalking this site every day in anticipation for the new dolls, witness me stressing out trying to add my collection, putting in bids on my behalf and consoling me when I get outbid due to the silly prices, saying she will get me all the ones I want one day, even though we can't afford it. We have just moved in together and she wants to construct some kind of display unit for me so that I can display my collection properly, even though it would mean taking over the whole living room! I would like to say a BIG thank you to my daughter Emma. After the death of my mother and 3 miscarriages I had really lost hope. When I became pregnant with my daughter Emma I never imagined that she would change the way I viewed the world. She was born 3 weeks premature and with a heart defect, at 7 months old she had to have open heart surgery. She was so strong, after being in the hospital only 3 days she was healthy enough to go home. Within the next week she rolled over, sat and stood up for the first time. She taught me so much. Seeing someone so small able to be so strong I realized my true strength. She is now 8 years old healthy and happy and anytime I start to feel down I look at her and realize what the human spirit is capable of!!! Thank you Emma!

Perhaps a bit smoochy: Today I totally realized how happy and lucky I am with my (Fresh) husband. He specially took a day off from his work so he can attend me when I go to a trade fair for illustrators (my occupation). I am a freelance illustrator and trying hard to get more involved with the business and such. He wants to help me and it's just so nice and thoughtful of him. This week we will be together for 5 years, and I want to thank him hugely for these years. They've been fun and I've never felt better. I am grateful for that.

They have been the most amazing, supportive parents through even the tougher parts of my life, mainly during high school and those times when I needed a little push in the right direction, to become the best kind of person I can be. Their support and love has pushed me to really reach out for my aspirations and that I can be anything I want to be...even if I want to be a secret agent (which I totally did when I was 12)

I would like to say a HUGE thank you for my grandfather today and everyday. He raised me, loved me more than anything and taught me to be the person I am today and even though I don't get to see him as often as I'd like, I'm just so thankful that he's here for me whenever I need him. My grandpa's health is very poor and I call him the Bionic Man because of how many knee and hip replacements he's had. He's on oxygen and a ridiculous amount of medications. He never lets it get him down. He has the heart of a champion; a big, ol', compassionate heart that makes me SO proud to be his granddaughter. And I can't even begin to describe just how lucky I am to have him in my life. That wonderful man is what I'm thankful for.

I would like to say thankyou to my lovely mum who is always there to support me with everything I do - from my school coursework and gcse exams, to the small meaningless things in life. She has had a really tough year in 2011, especially with work but she's still does the daily jobs and goes through each day without a grumble, and i can always count on her to give me a big hug when I need it most. She is an outstanding an inspirational woman who I always look up too and if I can achieve half of the things she has in life, then I will be a very happy person. I'm so lucky to have such a fabby mami and I love her to bits. I love my whole family but this is a special message to my mum because she deserves a big thankyou. So, sorry for blabbing on a bit but this was really important to me..

When I think back to how scared and nervous I was on my first few lessons with him I can't believe how far I've come! I would say a BIG MASSIVE THANK YOU for my daughter Eevee... She has made my life complete and lifts my spirits and soul to heights I never thought possible. I adore her and she makes me smile everyday. I never thought I would be lucky enough to have a baby, for some reason I thought I didn't deserve it, and I used to cry thinking I would never have my child tell me they love me... Now she's nearly 1 and is getting more confident with her walking and talking everyday and I know it's only a matter of months before I hear those words.... I love you Mum. I am so grateful to have her and couldn't imagine life with out her, I would love to have this doll to give her when she's bigger. Thank you Eevee... Love Mummy. (I'm crying now!)

I am completely and utterly thankful to the nurses and doctors that have helped my husband through his time leading up to his most recent surgery. We have had a very trying and difficult year and have had to be at many different hospitals. I have had many great experiences with the nurses and doctors I've seen while my husband was in pain and it makes me very thankful that there are people out there who care enough to make that their profession.
