INSPIRATION FOR DOLL
My 10-year-old daughter and her love of dressing-up.

MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES USED
Kiln dried sand to weight the base, fun fur, a curtain ring for the soother, felt, bias tape, piping chord, non-allergenic polyester filling, embroidery thread and magnets for the bear's and the doll's hand.

BACKGROUND
I am studying a degree in textile crafts. I am a terrible hoarder, I have all my dolls from when I was a little girl, including a rag doll I made when I was 16.
