INSPIRATION FOR DOLL
I am crazy about knitting and love the look of vintage cardigans. I began with the bobble cardigan and the design grew from there.

MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES USED
I used a variety of materials that I had in my treasure box. Evie’s black bob is made from an old jumper I loved. She has vintage lace on her collar and some pulled work embroidery. Her fascinator is smocked with added
sequins for sparkle.

BACKGROUND
I have just finished a three year apprenticeship in hand embroidery at the Royal School of Needlework. I now work as an embroidery teacher and freelance embroiderer.

ADMIRES
I admire all the designer/makers out there who are brave enough to go it alone and sell their craft to the world.
