INSPIRATION FOR DOLL
A combination of two of my favourite sources; art history and nature. Both provide endless variety of colour and design.

MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES USED
The basic body and head structure is stitched and stuffed fabric. The hair, clothing and creatures were constructed using needle-felting techniques and wool fibres.

BACKGROUND
I am a science teacher at a high school, but my passions are art, textiles and costume. I have a classic 1937 Austin 7 motor car called Ruby.
