INSPIRATION FOR DOLL
My sketchbooks of doll-like people and the discarded fabrics of life; vintage buttons and materials.

MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES USED
I used the techniques my mom taught me as a child hand and machine sewing, embroidery, cross stitch, needle-felting and beading. Vintage buttons, remnants, wool felt from Australia and pieces of a velvet coat I have fond memories of that came from a church yard sale.

BACKGROUND
I have taught art around the world and I am now a full-time artist specializing in mail art.
