INSPIRATION FOR DOLL
Sewing and Stitching. Paper patterns, measuring tapes, pin-cushions, hooks and eyes, lots of buttons and red thread. A red thread runs through my work, alluding to the red cloth once produced in the textile mills of Stroud, and the continuous thread of life.

MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES USED
I digitally printed sewing patterns and instructions onto cloth. A ticket tagging gun was used to attach buttons and everything is entirely handstitched.

BACKGROUND
I graduated from Central Saint Martins, London. I now work as a textile artist, costume designer and member of Studio Seven textile collective.
